Individuals who just want to check their general English comprehension skills can take all three E-Tests containing samples of colloquial English language used in daily life in North America and Great Britain.

E-Testing: How Does it Work?

After selecting and paying for your E-Test(s), you will be given access to the e-testing section of the Elinet website.

Elinet’s online English-language E-Tests are based on multiple choice questions. This means you will need to select one correct answer from four different options. You will have 30 minutes to complete the test, which contains 30 questions (one minute for each question). When time runs out, you will be redirected to a page with correct answers.

If you are not satisfied with your score, you can pay for and take additional tests to determine your problem areas. You can also choose to improve your language skills by working with our expert English tutors through our web-based lessons and certificate programs or via video conference-based lessons.

Do I Need to Register as an Elinet Student?

Not at all. Registered Elinet students and unregistered guests, and generally anyone interested in working or studying in Canada, the USA, Great Britain or emigrating to these or other English-speaking countries, are invited to take any number of online Elinet E-Tests and have their language skills assessed objectively.
